Six years after coming out and moving to Sydney, Cameron’s (Tim Spencer) dreams of elite parties and mini-breaks with jaw-lined boyfriends have flatlined. Nevertheless, he is determined to pin down his almost-boyfriend, Jack (Rupert Raineri), and prove to his newly-out cousin, Toby (Brayden Dalmazzone), that he is an all-knowing gay guru. From how to bottom to hook-up strategy, Cameron mentors his country cousin through the urban gay experience. Toby’s naive country charm makes him an instant hit, but Cameron’s insecurities soon threaten to drive a wedge between them. Created by Tim Spencer, and directed by Joshua Longhurst and Sarah Bishop, season one of the hilarious and horny new queer-positive comedy, Ding Dong I’m Gay, is coming to YouTube July 22. Produced by Wintergarden Pictures, with principal production investment from Screen Australia and financed with support from Screen NSW. Jesus At The Gay Bar out now! Vinyls + merch here - https://linktr.ee/cubsport For their entire career, Cub Sport have been searching for some kind of absolution. To listen to the Brisbane band’s music is to see a process of unburdening and unlearning in slow motion: their four albums to date plot a progression away from shame and towards joy, celebration and pure euphoria. On their resplendent, forthcoming fifth album Jesus At The Gay Bar – the title, inspired by writer Jay Hulme’s poem of the same name – Cub Sport reach that point of ecstatic lightness, or at least somewhere close to it. Using the language of bright, crystalline dance music as shorthand for a kind of hard-won spiritual freedom – with nods to house, 2-step and UK garage, while retaining the lush fragility of Cub Sport music past – Jesus At The Gay Bar finds the group largely shedding hangups and celebrating love and life in all its manifestations.

NEARLY THERE FILMS - Danny Coxley A channel beaming and streaming with indie shorts, features, comedy and docs -- made by my crew and I with passion, a lot of thought and a shoe-string budget! I've been making gay themed films since 1989 up until recently. Some have been entered at festivals, some found notoriety on here. The channel does lean towards a Gay Theme (in case you haven't noticed!) - and whenever I'm asked why I often have gay characters or plot lines, my answer is, 'why not, there's straight characters in every film ever made, and that's never questioned!' There's something in our films for all to enjoy, which ever way you were born! We do think it's very important to show people that we have a right to voice our opinions and show case our work without it being a gimmick, stereo-typed or a novelty to cause controversy or make 'Freak' shows of us -- it's important for the young generations of gay people facing the inevitable dissension!
