Lil Zey is a Turkish singer. After attending Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA) where she studied Music Business and Songwriting, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia and interned as an A&R for RedZone Entertainment with Grammy award-winning record producer Tricky Stewart and Terius “The Dream” Nash. While in Atlanta, Lil Zey practiced and learned the A&R procedure from the Top of the Industry and also began her DJ’ing career.
Constantly translating personal experience into her craft, Lil Zey finds inspiration from a range of sources, from her friends and fellow musicians in RedKeys Music, to the times she lived in Boston and Atlanta. Sharing the stage with Khontkar, she has brought the Zone 6 Atlanta sound to Thug Life at Zorlu PSM parties. These influences, combined with a hunger for discovering the newest, are some of the elements of the now-Izmir-based artist’s distinct creative process as she makes a name as the first female mumble rapper/singer in Turkey’s trap scene.
