LAYA PRODUCTIONS was established in October 2016, by a group of passionate and dedicated dance lovers from the GEMS Our Own English High School, Dubai. It has experienced unprecedented growth over the six years. The team is very enthusiastic and energetic, synchronized and expressive. The team is specialized in Indian Contemporary, Folk and classical form of dance. At the AL QASBA INDIA FEST NATIONAL COMPETITION, organized by the Government of Sharjah, The team bagged the 1st position and received prize money of AED 2,000. Team LAYA has also performed for the YOUfest, a UAE level competition organized by Asianet News and Hit 96.7fm and made it to the 3rd position out of 14 teams in the cinematic dance category. Shows under Indian Consulate, Dubai, Global Village and top event managements in the UAE also add to the list.
