Lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering at a South African university.  I completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Pretoria.  I continued with post-graduate studies at TUT and ESIEE Paris in the field of Artificial Intelligence (specializing in Face Detection and Face Recognition algorithm optimization).  Currently, I am busy with my Ph.D. in the field of Deep Learning.  I am passionate about teaching and helping students and teachers.  I completed a post-graduate certificate and diploma in Vocational Teaching and Teacher Training at the Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in Finland.
